Mission Statement
Movement for life is our mission, to enable people to function as optimally as is physically possible. Movement of the body is essential for the body to maintain function and balance. Our aim is to allow people of all ages and ability to achieve the best function possible for themselves, whether it be the elite athlete or the person rehabilitating from a joint replacement.
Our Story
Bookham Chartered Physiotherapy Service Ltd (BCPS Ltd) is a family run business established 40 years ago. The core ethic of the practice is to optimally enable our patients to achieve the best recovery possible, both physically and mentally. BCPS believes this can only be achieved through a friendly environment where we listen to our patients, then use our expertise with thorough functional assessment of the whole body and up to date treatment methods. A diagnosis and patient specific treatment plan can then be implemented. All BCPS physiotherapists draw on many years of hands on clinical treatment combined with up to date evidence-based practice. We believe in working closely with other health professionals to aid in your recovery. The BCPS team is led by Mr. Andy Trott who has over 23 years of hands on physiotherapy. He and the team offer a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. We hope to see you soon to start your recovery.

Mr Harry Driscoll MSc BSc (Hons) MCSP HCPC Physiotherapist
With degrees in both sport rehabilitation and physiotherapy, Harry is passionate in
the application of his knowledge in strength and conditioning, applying this to the
treatment of a wide variety of conditions.
With experience working in private clinics, the NHS, and in football, rugby and
hockey, Harry has been practicing since 2018. He is currently balancing working in
different medical fields for the NHS at Epsom and St Helier hospitals with his clinics
at BCPS.
Harry enjoys treating all conditions and understands the impact that being injured
can have on a patient’s mental, social and physical health. His aim as a therapist is
to give the patient a clear understanding of the cause and nature of their pain, how
long it will take to recover, and to develop an optimal treatment programme to speed
up the patient’s recovery. His experience in sport helps him to diagnose and treat
acute injuries; his most recent research dissertation focussed on optimising
treatments for chronic neck and lower back pain.
He has also been a “joint pain advisor” where he ran a specialist clinic for people
suffering from osteoarthritis.
Harry is a massive Fulham fan sadly, therefore, understanding the importance of
managing expectations! As therapist to Chertsey football club, he supported the 1 st
team in their win of the FA Vase at Wembley – quite a thrill to run out to injured
players under the eyes of 40,000 spectators and the odd TV camera!

Nigel Trott
After a career in IT and communications where he was lucky enough to be involved in the development and implementation of innovative technologies and had the pleasure of leading teams for software development companies in Europe, USA and Japan, Nigel finally founded a consultancy business which morphed into recruiting senior professionals into major IT and engineering companies. Having sold his business he moved in to help with some of the IT, admin and financial services of BCPS and after what seems an eternity we still can’t get rid of him.
